Dr. Christine Gerst knew from a young age that she wanted to be a veterinarian. Growing up in the Chicago suburbs, she always had a love for animals, including her childhood dog and cats and the horses she grew up riding. While in high school, Dr. Gerst began working for a local veterinary clinic where her love of veterinary medicine continued to blossom. She then attended Purdue University for her bachelor's and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degrees. Dr. Gerst loves building relationships with both clients and their pets and enjoys surgery, preventative care, and internal medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Gerst enjoys spending time with her husband, Kevin, and their twins, Harper and Connor. She also likes traveling, cooking, and horseback riding. Dr. Gerst is passionate about animal adoption and currently has 3 dogs, 5 cats, a horse, and 2 goats that she has adopted over the years.
