Dr Glavis graduated from UC Davis with both her veterinary medicine degree as well as a Master's in Preventative Veterinary Medicine. She has worked in a variety of settings, from general practice to non-profit NGOs and most recently UC Davis. She also has worked with a variety of species including cats and dogs, small exotic, as well as large zoo animals. Her professional interests include surgery and emergency medicine.

When not working you can find Dr Glavis camping or travelling. She lives at home with her 2 children, her dog, and her 4 chickens (Root Beer, Flame, Knick Knack and Ruth Bader Hensburg).
